Every service below has something measurable attached to it, whether that is range of motion, grip strength, walking distance or session frequency. Scarborough patients get told which measure applies to them and when it will next be checked.
Chiropractor in Scarborough with Measured, Reviewed Care Plans
We provide chiropractic care in Scarborough for back pain, neck pain and joint stiffness, with baseline measurements taken at the first visit so progress can be checked rather than assumed later on. Reviews are scheduled from the outset.

Who We Are
Four things get recorded at the first visit: how far the painful region moves, what provokes it and at what point, a pain rating, and one functional task such as a distance walked or a weight lifted. Those numbers become the reference. At a scheduled reassessment, usually the fourth or sixth visit, the same tests are repeated and compared with you. No change means the plan changes, a different approach is tried, or referral is arranged rather than repeating what has not worked.
- Multidisciplinary Team
Chiropractors, physiotherapists, and registered massage therapists collaborating under one roof, so your care is coordinated, not fragmented.
- Movement Based Approach
We assess how your body actually moves, then build a treatment plan that restores function from the foundation up. Kinetic. Core. Foundation.
“If nothing has shifted by the review, the plan changes.”
Care that continues indefinitely without measurement is hard to justify and harder to end. Numbers taken at the start settle the question of whether treatment is working, which protects your money and your time. They also make the decision to stop straightforward, because the file shows what changed and what did not.
What We Offer
Chiropractic Treatments and How Each One Is Reviewed
Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care combines adjustment, mobilisation and soft tissue work, and its effect is tracked through movement range and provocation testing at each review rather than by feel alone.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy tracks strength, endurance and function against numbers recorded at the start, so a plateau shows up in the file before it shows up in frustration. Numbers are shown to you.
Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is reviewed on symptom relief duration: if the ease after a session lasts longer each time, the sessions are working and can be spaced further apart. Spacing is agreed with you.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is trialled over a defined number of sessions with a pain rating recorded before and after, and it is discontinued if the ratings do not move. A short trial is agreed first, in writing.
Class IV K-Laser Therapy
Class IV laser therapy is applied over a set number of sessions with tenderness and swelling logged each time, which makes the decision to continue or stop a factual one. Nothing continues on habit.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics are reviewed at six weeks for comfort and wear pattern, and adjusted or remade where the fit is not right. Gait is filmed before and after. Remakes carry no extra fee.
Exercise Rehabilitation
Exercise rehabilitation runs on recorded loads and repetitions, so progression is based on what you lifted last week rather than on how the week felt overall. Loads are logged each session.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor therapy uses symptom diaries and strength testing to show change, with reviews at set intervals so nobody continues sessions without evidence of benefit. Diaries stay confidential.
Pediatric & Pregnancy Chiropractic
Pediatric and pregnancy chiropractic tracks comfort, movement and activity tolerance in children and in pregnancy, with clear review points and honest conversations about what care can achieve.
How It Works
Your Path from Pain to Lasting Movement
Every patient at KC Rehab follows the same proven four step process, designed to uncover the root cause of your pain or restriction and build a recovery plan that actually lasts.
Consultation and Assessment
Your first visit begins with a detailed conversation about your history, lifestyle, and goals. We then perform a hands on movement assessment to identify the underlying mechanics behind your symptoms.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Based on your assessment findings, we build a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, goals, and timeline. This may combine chiropractic, physiotherapy, RMT, acupuncture, and exercise rehabilitation.
Active Treatment & Therapy
Your plan comes to life through manual therapy, targeted exercise, and the modalities best suited to your condition. Every session is monitored and adjusted based on your progress.
Ongoing Care & Prevention
Once you have recovered, we equip you with the exercises, ergonomic advice, and maintenance schedule you need to stay pain-free and continue moving well for years to come.
Why CHoose Us
Why Scarborough Patients Stay With This Clinic
Care is measured, reviewed on a set date, and stopped when the numbers say so. Chiropractors here hold registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, and chiropractic care runs alongside eight other services with parking directly outside.
Baseline measures at visit one
Range of motion, provocation, a pain rating and one task are recorded before treatment starts, so every later review has something firm to compare against.
Scheduled reassessment points
A review date is set at the outset, usually the fourth or sixth visit, so nobody drifts into an open ended course of care without a checkpoint.
Written, dated goals
Goals are recorded in your own terms, such as a distance, a lift or a sleep pattern, and dated, so success is defined by you rather than by the practitioner.
Records released on request
Your file, including measurements and treatment notes, is released to you or your physician on request, which matters for insurance and for second opinions.
RESTORE. REBUILD. RECOVER.
Whether it has been a week or a decade, you do not have to keep adjusting your life around pain. Book your initial assessment at KC Rehab today and find out what real, movement based recovery actually feels like.
Our Customer Testimonials
Frequent Asked Questions
How is progress measured between chiropractic visits?
Movement range, symptom provocation, a pain rating and one functional task are recorded and repeated at set intervals. Those four measures cover most complaints. You are told the numbers each time rather than only a general impression. Home records of pain and activity add useful detail between visits.
What happens at a reassessment appointment?
The tests from the first visit are repeated, the results are compared with you out loud, and the plan is confirmed or changed. Reassessment usually falls on the fourth or sixth visit. It takes longer than a treatment session. Where progress has stalled, physiotherapy or a different approach is brought in.
Which measurements are recorded at the first visit?
Movement in each direction, what provokes the pain and at what point, a rating out of ten, and one functional task. The functional task is chosen by you, such as a walking distance or a weight lifted. Everything is written in the file. KinetiCore Rehabilitation Centre releases those records on request.
When should a treatment plan be changed or stopped?
A plan should change when the measures show no improvement after a fair trial, usually four to six visits. Continuing unchanged past that point is difficult to justify. Options include a different technique, a different profession or referral out. Patients from Bendale are held to the same standard.
What if the measures show no improvement at all?
No change after a fair trial means the working diagnosis gets revisited rather than the same treatment repeated. Imaging or a physician opinion may be arranged. Sometimes another profession is the better fit. To discuss a case that has not moved, please contact us before booking further visits.
How often are goals reviewed during a care plan?
Can I get a written copy of my progress notes?
Yes, your records including measurements and treatment notes are released to you on request. Insurers and physicians can be sent copies with your written consent. There is no charge for a standard written summary. Patients from Morningside often request notes for a workplace claim.
How soon is a change in symptoms expected?
Most acute complaints show some change within two to four visits, while long standing problems take longer to shift. Early change is often in movement rather than pain. That distinction matters when judging progress. A complete absence of change by the review triggers a different plan.
